- 300 meters from Napier Theater and Center Street
When staying there, guests will be able to park their car and walk around town without having to worry about parking lot.
There are a lot of things to do in Drumheller and the Canadian Badlands. Some of the tourist attractions are a little bit further in the valley, such as the Royal Tyrrell Museum or the Hoodoos.
But there are still plenty to discover in downtown Drumheller, such as the World’s Largest Dinosaur, the DinoWalk and the Bikes&Bites E-bike rental that it’s great to be able to explore a little by foot before heading on a day road trip.

The Tyrannosaurus Rest is the perfect family-friendly Bed and Breakfast. Families will love the family room, the Attic Room, on the upper level of this beautiful ancestral house.
The Attic Room includes:
- a main bedroom with 1 Queen Bed and 1 Twin Bed
- a little kid’s nook with a single bed
- a living room with sofa, drawing stations and games
- a private bathroom
Plus, the owner have many board games, books and even special dinosaur coloring pages with crayons that kids can use while waiting for breakfast to be served.
Upon arrival, children will be pleased to discover fresh baked dinosaur-shaped cookies just for them as well as a pre-stamped postcard they can send to their friends or grandparents during their stay.
3. It Offers the Best Breakfast in Drumheller

The owner prepare each morning a homemade breakfast for his guests to enjoy. Made from scratch with fresh produces, you’ll get to eat one of the best breakfast served in Drumheller.
4. The Owner is Amazing
As my first experience with kids in a B&B, I really didn’t know what to except. When we knocked on the door, we were nicely welcomed by Shawn, the owner of this Drumheller Bed and Breakfast.
I love that he didn’t only speak to me, but that he quickly involved my boys. During the tour of the beautiful house, he made sure to talk directly to the kids and catered the explanation in a manner kids would love.
He took the time to show the kids unique pieces of furniture and decoration he has in the B&B. He sat down and showed the boys how to use a old fashioned telephone. He patiently helped the kids crack nuts in the nutcrackers and he turned all the clocks around the house so the kids could hear them tick.
Plus, he welcomed us with yummy fresh baked cookies.
5. The Atmosphere is Cosy
The Bed & Breakfast is located in a charming ancestral house. The atmosphere is really cozy. The place has been decorated with taste and care to make sure guests feel at home.
There is a nice outdoor area to enjoy warm summertime with a fire pit. We didn’t get to enjoy in outdoor patio during our winter stay, but you can see images on the Tyrannosaurus Rest website.

It can be hard to find a *real* family-friendly Bed and Breakfast, but I think we found the perfect one. The Tyrannosaurus Rest is probably the best Drumheller Bed and Breakfast, but it’s definitely the most family-friendly B&B you can find.
