The Mirage has been a staple in Vegas for years, and there’s a reason why. Located in the middle of the Strip (between Caesars Palace and Treasure Island) and the perfect location for a Las Vegas family vacation.
We stayed at the Mirage for three days and four nights. The rooms are nice and spacious, with family rooms available for larger families. The Mirage’s lobby is gorgeous, including greenery weaved throughout and its famous aquarium behind the check-in area.
The pools at the Mirage were our daughter’s favorite! Surrounded by waterfalls and rock formations, the first thing she wanted to do every day was to go swimming and spend time in the water. The Mirage also offers two unique shows inside the hotel: The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil and Shin Lim: LIMITLESS.
And don’t forget to take in the famous fire show at night in front of the Mirage. It’s definitely a MUST-SEE activity during any Vegas trip.
There is also an imaginative store at the Mirage’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat that features an animal-centric gifts store.
Ensure you ask for a room with a view of the fire show. One of the highlights of the room was watching the show from the unique perspective of our hotel room each night instead of heading down to the street.

The other fun things to do at the hotel are to visit the Flamingos (of course), turtles, ducks and fish. There is also a little Chapel to renew your vows (with the kids in tow) and many restaurants to try.
