You’ll find two campgrounds within Bryce Canyon National Park.
North Campground
This campground is open year-round. It requires reservation from May to October, but is on first-come, first-serve basic the rest of the year. Make sure to make your reservation as soon as possible.
It’s important to know that no sewer, water or electrical hook-ups are available.
Sunset Campground
This campground is open from April to October on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are no sewer, water or electrical hook-ups available.

The Lodge at Bryce Canyon
The Lodge at Bryce Canyon is the perfect lodging option if you want to be in the heart of the National Park. It’s located between Sunset Point and Sunrise Point and it has it’s own park shuttle stop.
The Lodge is open from early April to end of November, so it can’t sadly accommodate winter visitors.
It’s in a beautiful historic building surrounded by the unique views and hoodoos formation of Bryce Canyon.
The cabins offer rooms with cozy beds, gas-log fireplace and no TVs (to keep the rustic feeling going!).
Places to stay near Bryce Canyon National Park: Bryce Canyon City
Bryce Canyon City is only a short drive from the park entrance and visitor center. Bryce Canyon’s park shuttle offers many stops in Bryce Canyon City to help you plan your stay.

Ruby’s Inn RV Park & Campground

If you’re looking where to stay near Bryce Canyon National Park for your family getaway, then consider Ruby’s Inn RV Park & Campground. Perfect for nature lovers, you can rent log cabins or tipi’s, and of course traditional tent camping or bring your RV.
Ruby’s Inn is the closest campground to Bryce Canyon National Park. Situated right on Highway 63, it’s just outside of the National Park entrance. The Bryce Canyon Shuttle Service is located right across the street from Ruby’s Inn, making exploring the park convenient.
Kid-friendly amenities like a pool and hot tub, fire pits, laundromat, restaurants on site and a general store, there’s so much to offer families. Within walking distance are more restaurants and convenience stores.
With prices starting at about $50 per night, Ruby’s Inn is a great find for travelers on a budget. Of course, if you’ve got a big rig and want full hook-ups, the fees are higher by about $25 per night. Ruby’s Inn RV Park & Campground is open seasonally from spring to fall, when the weather is more pleasant for camping.

Bryce View Lodge
Bryce View Lodge is part of the Rubys Inn Resort. It’s perfectly located to enjoy both Bryce Canyon City and Bryce Canyon National Park.

When booking at Bryce View Lodge, you can also enjoy the kid-friendly amenities offered at the Ruby Inn’s RV Park Campground. Kids will love playing in the outdoor swimming pool after a day hiking. All visitors also have access to the indoor swimming pool from the Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn located right across the street. Don’t get missed up with the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel that is located next to Bryce View Lodge.
The hotels runs some special where you receive breakfast voucher. The buffet offered at the Ruby’s Inn is delicious. It has so many options to choose from.
There is a free parking lot at Bryce View Lodge and a shuttle stop to use to enter Bryce National Park. Plus, it’s a short walk to the little city center where you can find restaurant, souvenir shops and ice cream.

There are a few other towns near the national park where you can stay. The town of Tropic is a good option and not too far from Mossy Cave and the main entrance.

Bryce Canyon is a wonderful national park to explore when visiting Utah with kids. While there are limited lodging options inside the national park, there are many options outside the park.
With kids, I would highly recommend staying at one of the hotels or campground in Bryce Canyon City.
